Photography bio
Photography Experience I have owned and used a camera since I was 10, but after returning from a holiday in New Zealand in 1995, I was disappointed with the photos I received back from the processor. (It was film back then.) My camera at that time was a Canon AE1 Program, which I later replaced with a Canon EOS 33.
In an effort to improve my photography and understand its finer points, I completed a Photography course at T.A.F.E. After completing the course joined Ryde Eastwood Leagues Camera Club and became an active member, competing in the large print, small print and projected slide competitions. I purchased my first Digital camera in 2004, a Canon 20D
I joined Pennant Hills Photography Club in 2008 and have competed in the large color and monochrome print sections during the time I have been a member.
I completed the F.C.C. Judges course in 2006 and am active on their judges list, having judged at local clubs, F.C.C. Inter-Club and Top Shot competitions.
Areas of interest Travel Photography, Macro Photography, Sports Photography, Architectural Photography. Favourite Equipment Canon 7D S.L.R. Fujifilm X-T20 Mirrorless camera Computer Stuff I use a Mac Computer and Adobe Lightroom classic CC and Photoshop CC 2018 to process my images, as well as Silver Efex Pro 2 and other editing software.
